Welcome to Narcotics Anonymous
We’re glad you’re here! NA is a nonprofit fellowship or society of people for whom drugs have become a major problem. Whether you’re new to our fellowship or returning after time away, the resources on this page are designed to help you on your journey.
Am I an Addict?
Only you can answer this question. It is one that every member of our fellowship must face at some point.
You may find reading some of our literature helpful, like Am I an Addict? or Welcome to Narcotics Anonymous.
“We often say that no one comes through the doors of NA by
mistake. Nonaddicted people don’t spend their time wondering if they’re addicts. They don’t even think about it.”

“IP #7: Am I an Addict? made a big impact as well as IP #19: Self-Acceptance. Am I an Addict allowed me to see how many questions I answered yes to and confirmed my suspicions. Self-Acceptance is something I struggle with and Triangle is RAD! IP #12: The Triangle of Self-Obsession I love that it tells us we must grow up or die.”

“In IP #30 Mental Health in Recovery, it states “Members who take mental health medication as prescribed by a healthcare professional are considered clean.” It is my responsibility to be completely honest of all signs, symptoms & side effects to be properly treated.”

October 2022
“After I read IP #12: The Triangle of Self-Obsession, everything changed for me. It became obvious what was wrong with me and that I was not alone. It finally made sense of why I did the things that I did. It was a turning point in wanting to stay clean and my path to recovery.”

“IP #9: Living the Program, This IP is important to me because it’s a great way to gauge my spiritual wellness for the day. Our literature says, “The greatest gift we get is the daily reprieve.” I stay clean one day at a time. At the end of the day, I utilize this pamphlet as a guide to journaling!”

“When we fully concede to our innermost selves that we are powerless over our addi tion, we have taken a big step in our recovery. Many of us have had some reservations at this point, so give yourself a break and be as thorough as possible from the start.”
